Book: How to Be Parisian Wherever You Are: Love, Style, and Bad Habits

Authors: Anne Berest, Caroline De Maigret, Audrey Diwan, Sophie Mas

Summary: A book that explains the rules of French life in a not so serious way.

Parisian-51-613x613

Something I liked was: The recipes and list of French films according to your mood. The witty, factual one liners; such as:

“Embrace your inner snob. (Because let’s face it, that’s who you are.)”

“The Parisienne already knows what she must think: the opposite of what you think, no matter what.”

“Enjoy the face you have today. It’s the one you’ll wish you have 10 years from now.”

“As your face gets messier with age, you hair can get neater, for balance.”

“In short, you’re not a slave to the cult of the perfect body—so learn to make the best of what nature gave you.”

I would recommend this book because: It’s an easy, quick read. Nothing deep but finds a witty way to keep you captivated. Plus you get quite a few chuckles in between pages.
