Weekend Recap

I had a beautiful long weekend with friends! I wish I would have taken more photos but I can honestly say I was too busy enjoying the actual moment that I didn’t want to take out my phone camera. For once, I preferred to really take it all in and leave the phone tucked away in my purse. I think I made the right decision.

I will say one thing … in the future I’ll try to be better about including actual people in my photos (:

This weekend consisted of: 90s night, crab racing, assisting with wedding duties, church, reading, eating and enjoying the bright sun with a walk around a local park with friends.

It may sound silly but the words “Be kind” resonated a lot this weekend. I love Easter weekend for many reasons – it reminds me of Jesus’ love, his grace and his willingness to take the fall in order for us to have eternal life.

All that to say, although “Be kind” are just two simple words … they are words I want to live by. Christ has shown me kindness and love so deep, it would be wrong of me to not demonstrate that same kindness towards others. Life isn’t always easy and it doesn’t always go as planned but one thing is for sure, we have the opportunity to impact the lives of those around us. I really hope the ones around me see Christ’s kindness.Processed with VSCOcam with s2 preset Processed with VSCOcam with s3 preset Processed with VSCOcam with s2 preset
