Mom came to visit me in Ohio. She cooked delicious meals, we laughed, we talked for hours and we drove around areas in NE Ohio that she hadn’t seen yet.
My second trip in March was with a few girlfriends to Dallas, TX. A little bit of a random spot on the map but it seemed to be the perfect spot for all of us to meet since we were all coming from different places geographically.
Umm.. this might have been one of the best moments in 2015. A few of us decided we should enjoy a weekend in NY and it was GREAT! I had a hard time picking my favorite photos mostly because I love all of the memories from this 4 day weekend.
My first stop in May was with my dear friend, Jemlys. We wanted a girls weekend in a city we’d never been to. After a few options, we landed on Boston – a city filled with history, great food and totally walkable.
I then made a trip to Chicago to celebrate two of my favorite people get married. It was a beautiful wedding and wonderful weekend hanging out and exploring.
In July I went back home for the long weekend and stopped in Chicago for Pitchfork Fest.
Somehow I found myself in Chicago once again in August. Although it was a work trip, we did get to shop and grab some good eats in the evening.
Me and my pals decided a day trip to Put in Bay was a must since I had never been and well that’s a must if you’re living in Ohio.
I also had the opportunity to go to San Francisco, CA for Outsidelands Music Festival. Dream! It was an incredible 3 days full of music, food and great freaking vibes. I’d love to live in a music festival for the rest of my life.
The last month of the year was spent with family and friends. The fun started in Miami, FL, then the family headed to Gatlingburg, TN, made a quick stop in Charleston, SC and finally rang in the year back in Miami. It was a great 2 weeks. Why did it have to go so fast?
In a nutshell, I’m thankful for 2015. I pray 2016 holds many more adventures.
